“I booked a superior room with a balcony more than six months prior to my stay. I checked in on time and received an inferior room with malfunctioning plumbing and air conditioning. I called the front desk, and at first was told they didn’t know what was going on. Then they told me I should never been able to book a balcony room on Expedia and didn’t have to stay there. I advised we had driven 4 hrs, and they moved us to another inferior room but at least the plumbing and air conditioning worked....

“Our stay at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel was a mixture of good and bad experiences. We arrived after 4 PM, the advertised check-in time, only to discover our room wasn’t ready. After finally getting our room, we had an extremely long walk to the elevator. My sister has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) and POTS, which make walking long distances difficult. She was already struggling, so this was particularly frustrating. Our biggest complaint was the room temperature. It was 74°F, and we couldn’t adjust...

“This motel perfectly corresponds to our needs: easy to be reached by car, large parking, comfortable rooms, good quality hot buffet breakfast included in the reasonable rates. Smart person at the reception. 5 minutes by car from the Hopper House (which is our reason to visit Nyack, NY)”

“The hotel was about 80% empty, yet they gave us a non view second floor (NO ELEVATOR) room that, get this, SHARED A DOOR WITH THE ROOM NEXT DOOR! We heard every word of their conversations, phone calls, Tv etc. and they were up at 5am making noise. All unnecessary if they spaced the guests out for adequate privacy. The front desk had no explanation except telling us that we got the second-rate room because we booked with Expedia. I said, “What difference should that make because THE INN...

“After a long day, I returned to my room only to find the door ajar. Concerned about the security of my belongings, I inquired about the possibility of reviewing the surveillance footage to identify who had accessed my room. Unfortunately, I was informed that this could not be accommodated. When I checked out, I was assured that someone would investigate the matter and follow up with me. Regrettably, I have not received any communication since then, which has added to my concerns regarding the...

“Shower had very low pressure and not enough water. Also very noisy during our stay. There was a wedding party that was very loud late into the night. Layout of breakfast area very congested.”

“Absolute disaster! Don't stay here. Their AC wasn't working. They only had heat and it was unbearable. The staff, especially Jennifer, refused to do anything or offer alternatives. I'm still waiting for my refund.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Windrose on Hudson!! What a beautiful place! The facilities are very nice and the grounds are amazing!”

“We loved our stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The amenities were wonderful, but mostly, this is a gorgeous property! For such an historic property, it is so comfortable and beautiful! We wish we could have stayed longer!”

“Certainly worth the $$ Currently renovating. Great customer service. No bugs.”
